I was born in Cuba and moved to the United States at 20 years old. Like many immigrants, I arrived with a dream and very little else. I had to learn the language, adapt to a new culture, and build my life completely from the ground up. That experience taught me something I carry into everything I do today: how to start over, how to keep going, and how to believe in myself when nothing is guaranteed.
For years, I built my career in retail — and especially in luxury retail, in leadership roles where genuine connection with each client was everything. I learned that you don't grow a business by selling — you grow it by making people feel seen, understood, and cared for. Those years shaped me. I developed an eye for detail, an instinct for what makes people trust a brand, and a deep understanding of how real relationships drive real results.
When I discovered social media during the pandemic, everything clicked. I realized I could take everything I'd learned about connection, presentation, and trust — and bring it online. I taught myself content creation, storytelling, personal branding, and strategy, all while working full-time and showing up consistently, even when my audience was small.
Today I create content around hair, beauty, fashion, and lifestyle — but what I really do is build connection. My community may still be growing, but it's real, and they trust me. To me, that trust is worth more than any number.
